I wish I could remember who I was reading, but somebody I liked recently said something to the effect of, “most people who publish dating advice seem to be their own most desperate customers.”

I don’t think the problem is with dating advice being somehow feminist. I think the problem is that people who sell dating advice need to convince their customers that they need the product. And they can’t sell it if people think the opposite sex consists of rational, comprehensible people who just need to be approached and treated nicely; they need you to believe that the opposite sex is a bizarre species that you’ll have no hope of understanding without their help.

This is something I learned when I really started taking an interest in ze ladies. I’m sure many women will disagree with it too.
–Do not take advice about women from women.–
You’d think “Well, wouldn’t women know best since they’re…ya know…women?”
Turns out that’s not usually true.

What I’ve seen from women writing to men about dating comes down to this- “treat her like she’s better than you, because she is.”
    Equal, sure. Better, no.

  2. You’re paranoid. It must be miserable going through life seeing feminist anti-male conspiracies in everything you look at.
