About P. James Holland

P. James Holland

“I am too old for the self-help nonsense.”

If you’re looking for a 25-year-old life coach in a rented sports car preaching about his morning routine and manifesting vibrations, you are on the wrong website.

I’m P. James Holland—known to my readers as Coach Comeback.

I’m an author, real estate investor, and former AT&T lineman who spent twenty years learning every major life lesson the hard, expensive way.

In 2007, I was leading my crew at AT&T, hitting promotions, and took my entire family to the Bahamas for my mother’s 50th birthday. Then I was told I had hit the corporate ceiling. I bought Tim Ferriss’s The 4-Hour Workweek on a 7-hour airport layover, quit my job, and dove full-time into real estate investing.

P. James Holland as an AT&T Lineman

Back when climbing telephone poles was my day job—before the 2008 crash and the split.

For a while, everything I touched turned to gold. I flipped properties, piled up cash, and bought a brand-new car in cash as my physical trophy.

And then 2008 happened.

The subprime mortgage crash wiped out the real estate market. The divorce papers followed immediately after. In a matter of months, the marriage was gone, the houses were gone, the career was gone, and at 2:00 AM one night, a tow truck backed into my driveway and hauled away that paid-off car.

I stood on the curb in my sweatpants in the middle of the night with nothing left to my name except my clothes and absolute silence.

The Unintentional Bachelor’s Rebuild

I spent the next fifteen years figuring out how to rebuild from scratch—not by chasing another corporate ladder or leveraging myself with risky bank debt, but from the inside out.

Along the way, I authored several books on Amazon, including:

  • 10K in 60 Days: My flagship blueprint for generating $10,000 cash checks through zero-risk real estate wholesaling and control agreements.
  • Real Estate Control Freak: How to control valuable property and create cash flow without using your own credit or savings.
  • Stop Trying to Fix Yourself: A no-B.S. guide to quieting the mental noise, dropping guilt, and realizing your mind isn’t broken.

The Coach Comeback Ground Rules:

1. You are too old for drama. Life after 45 is too short to argue with people who don’t matter or spend your weekends swimming in emotional chaos.

2. You don’t need “fixing.” You aren’t broken. You don’t need five years of self-help retreats; you need a clear head, a quiet living routine, and practical cash flow.

3. Making dough buys options. When you know how to generate an extra $5,000 to $10,000 outside a W-2 job, you never have to be trapped by circumstances again.

4. Peace is the ultimate win. A clean room, one good skillet, clean sheets, and zero screaming beat a 4-bedroom house full of misery every single time.

What You’ll Find On This Site:
