28 Years Later… A Sincere Thank you to Teachers Everywhere

28 years later and I still know the words to “alouette”.

I just wanted to take a min to say thank you to my favorite teacher I’ve had. 6th grade at Freeport Elementary Mrs. Tiab.

She was my introduction to yoga, meditation, beginning French, and understanding, accepting and more importantly, appreciating the differences in cultures and how we can all learn from each other. She taught me how to be fascinated with people and things that are different, not fear and hate them. And for that I am truly grateful.

Please take a moment to thank a teacher. Especially now more than ever. They have had the strangest and hardest year dealing with all this going on. They paved the way and the minds of our youths and can never be appreciated or thanked enough.

A big thank you of appreciation to all teachers out there. We will never fully be able to give back what you have given to us and your dedication to our friends, family, sons, daughters, nieces, nephews, grandchildren, spouses, siblings… you shape the future. No words can thank you enough. In case no one told you… YOU MAKE A DIFFERENCE ???‍♂️????
