Most people are aware of the term “Hater”.  But if you are not here are a few definitions from  the URBAN DICTIONARY   pissed off hater pic

1.A person that simply cannot be happy for another person’s success. So rather than be happy they make a point of exposing a flaw in that person.Hating, the result of being a hater, is not exactly jealousy. The hater doesnt really want to be the person he or she hates, rather the hater wants to knock somelse down a notch.
Susan: You know, Kevin from accounting is doing very well. He just bought a house in a very nice part of town.Jane (hater): If he is doing so well why does he drive that ’89
Taurus?
2.  A person who feels anger and/or jealousy for someone who has succeeded in something they have worked hard for. A being who speaks badly,and/or takes negative actions in attempt to create problems for a successful person.
3.A label applied to people who are more negative than positive when discussing another person. It most commonly refers to individuals whose negativity is so extreme that it is all-consuming. However, there are various levels and forms of being a hater, ranging from completely dismissing any positive traits or actions, to merely painting a less than flattering picture by using words with negative connotations. Hating is often attributed to jealousy, but just as often, it seems to stem from some other source.
Person A: Ben Gordon is one of the best clutch scorers in the league! Person B: Gordon is an impressive scorer, but he’s still a role player.

Katt Williams on Haters – Who are they and how do we piss them off?

Summary:  Basically someone who is angered by your success.
How can this apply to you?
The strategy I am about to teach you should be used if you are:
  • Angry and looking to get revenge on anyone
  • In the mood to piss someone off
  • Looking to prove nay-sayers wrong
  • About to go to some sort of reunion
  • Currently unemployed from being fired
  • Having your home foreclosed
  • and so much more

The best way to achieve any of these things or something similar is simply become successful. Traditional “methods” of getting back at someone may feel good at first but once it is all over, you realize you actually do not feel any better about the whole situation. The main goal is just to feel better, right? Well if you are a success not only will you get the self gratification of anything from the above list but you will also have improved your life and hopefully made a lasting change. Here is the short version of the well thought out list from A Daring Adventure

People who say that you cannot buy happiness are either clinically depressed or they are trying to keep all the goodness to themselves.
SELFISH BASTARDS!
When you have lots of money you will still have problems…. they are just the types of problems most of us would be glad to have  like:laying by the pool to buy happiness

  • Trying decide between Boca Raton or Europe for a weekend getaway
  • Whether to drive the Jag or the Ferrari because of parking at the restuarant
  • If you should send your kids to Harvard business school or Princeton

I, for one, would love to have these kinds of problems.
The problem is we are shopping in the wrong places when attempt to “buy” happiness:

The Rich Know How to Buy Happiness (Do You?)

In the modern $1.4-trillion luxury economy, bling is out, and high-priced adventures are in.
So says a new report from the consultants at BCG, which explores the lifestyle habits of the world’s wealthy based on interviews with roughly 1,000 affluent individuals. Cartier jewelry, Hermes handbags, and Tourneau watches are being eclipsed by exclusive getaways to the Maldives and helicopter skiing vacations in Alaska (which, in case you’re interested, you can book for about$5,750-a-person, all inclusive). Spending on those sorts of mind-bendingly expensive experiences now accounts for more than half of the luxury market and is growing more than 50 percent faster than sales of luxury goods.

Did you know that workers in other countries work less than the average amarican?
Our average workweek as well as the hours per day have been steadily increasing over the past 10 years!
Most European employees enjoy 6 full weeks of paid vacation a year! As you may well know, the industry standard for America is 2!
overworked and underpaid get your time back

A few years ago, John De Graaf started a movement called “Take Back Your Time Day.” This movement would have everyone take the same day off – October 24th.
It’s purpose was to bring awareness that ENOUGH IS ENOUGH! We are overworked, underpaid and quite frankly . . . starting to lose our sanity!
What is happening to “The American Dream”? How are we to enjoy all the beauties of life if we spend 80% of our weeks working?

Sure you may be happy with your time-and-a-half overtime pay, but at what costs?
Being overworked adds an undeniable amount of stress to your life that far outweights the extra couple bucks you make.
What about being home during those crucial years as your children grow?
How many of you have children who took thier first steps while you were on the job? How many of you got the call that your baby spoke its first words only to rush home and hear your pride and joy utter the babysitter’s name?
It is time you reevaluate how you are spending the majority of your days and “Take Back Your Time”
as Graaf would suggest.
Maybe in the process you will find that you also get your LIFE back!

Want to make a difference in the world – Throw a Starfish!

Everyone wants to leave their mark on this planet when they are gone.  We all want to be remember in some way.
But how will you be remembered?
It is easy to think, “I’m just one person.  What can I do?”
Maybe that thinking will change after reading this short story.

A man was walking along a beach, reflecting on his life.  He had always wanted to make a difference, but no matter what he tried, he wound up feeling as though he was spitting into the wind.
Suddenly, the man heard a loud crunch, and looked down at his feet. Right where he was standing, and for as far as the eye could see in either direction, there were thousands upon thousands of tiny starfish washed up onto the shore by the ocean waves and tide. How Can I Make A Difference
The man continued walking, thinking to himself about the apparent cruelty of the ocean.  After all, those starfish hadn’t done anything wrong!  Yet before the day was done, they would be dead, washed up on the shore and left to die.
After a time, the man came across an old woman standing at the ocean’s edge, throwing starfish that had washed up on the shore back into the sea.
When he asked her what she was doing, she said she had always wanted to make a differenece, and she had decided that today was a good day to begin.
The man loked from her to the thousands upon thousands of starfish that lay dying along the coastline and said, “For every starfish you throw back into the ocean, three more wash up onto the shore!  How can you possibly be making a difference?”
The woman looked thoughtful for a moment.  Then she picked up another starfish and threw it back into the sea.  “Made a difference to that one,” she said, and she smiled the most beautiful smile the man had ever seen.
